Ag Heritage Park opens May 21st

The 6th season of The Market at Ag Heritage Park will open tomorrow at 3:00. The farmer’s market will be open every Thursday, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm until August 27th. The event will be held at a new location this year: on the other side of Ag Heritage’s Pond, on the green space near the Alfa Farmers Pavilion on Donahue Drive.

I usually do most of my grocery shopping at Kroger and you go to both the Shortucts and the Cellfire site – enter your Kroger Plus Card # – select the coupons you wish to use and they will automatically be on your card when you check out – without any paper copies.

A major plus is that Kroger allows you to use a Shortcut or Cellfire coupon AND a paper coupon on the same item for even further savings.

According to a press release from March 4th – Carmike Cinemas is attempting to get people back in the movie theaters and spending money. Starting tomorrow – 16-ounce drinks and 46-ounce popcorn will be only $1.00 each every Tuesday.

Although, it is still extremely expensive to get in the movie – once you get in you will get popcorn and a drink for $2.00. It is a good idea – but they will have to lower the movie price for me to go!

I bought 5 items there – and it was just ‘standard’ store brand items that I never have a coupon for that were 25% off. They will have to mark things much lower for it to be a ‘good’ deal!

The Auburn Panhellenic and Auburn University’s First Lady Susan Gouge are hosting a Dress Swap on March 24 & March 25 in the new Student Center.
