According to a press release from March 4th – Carmike Cinemas is attempting to get people back in the movie theaters and spending money. Starting tomorrow – 16-ounce drinks and 46-ounce popcorn will be only $1.00 each every Tuesday.
Although, it is still extremely expensive to get in the movie – once you get in you will get popcorn and a drink for $2.00. It is a good idea – but they will have to lower the movie price for me to go!
Update: Thanks to Emily – If you are a member of the AU Federal Credit Union, you can get a movie ticket for about $2.00 less!
